About the Position: This position serves as an Administrative Officer, GS-0341-09, with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Galveston Programs and Project Management Division in Galveston, TX.

Duties
Develops and schedules administrative operating plans and procedures for the Division.
Interprets and advises on administrative policies, procedures, directives, and requirements.
Coordinates all clerical, timekeeping, and automated financial management system duties through CEFMS.
Matches manning document with budget labor actions and organizational structure requirements.
Coordinates the preparation of the annual inventory for training requirements.
Assists and trains personnel on preparation of documents in the automated financial management system on a variety of actions.
Provides support to paralegals and attorneys within Office of Counsel.
Monitors budgets using budgeting modules.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing the following duties 1) performing administrative support duties such as records management, purchasing office supplies and/or submitting personnel actions; AND 2) assisting in managing an office budget; AND 3) coordinating training/travel needs for staff. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-07.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
