Administrative support employee that is capable of supporting any and all technical programs associated with air traffic.

Duties

Manages the administrative aspects of all technical support programs, (Quality Assurance, Airspace & procedures, training, etc.) Provides management with advice and counsel on the operation of technical support systems for implementation, and planning purposes. Incumbent performs a variety of technical functions independently and ensures that all required content is reviewed and prepared in a prescribed timeframe. Applies experience and advanced knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods, techniques and concepts to plan and accomplish assignments. Responsible for the analytical activities to provide management with accurate, timely and authoritative information to enable decisions. Uses quantitative methods and techniques to assists more-experienced analysts in creating comprehensive reports from data and analysis as requested by management.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
  • Successful completion of a security investigation will be required
  • Position is telework eligible, but position is not full time remote. Ad Hock telework approval can be determined by manager.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-G/FG/GS-10/11, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to FV-F/FG/GS-5-9 level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in, or related to, the position to be filled.Specialized experience is described as: Expert skills in using Microsoft Excel to create and manipulate analytical data.Expert skills in using Microsoft Power Point to create presentations.Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.

Education

Substitution of Education

FV-G Level: Ph.D, or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years progressively higher level graduate education leading toward such a degree or LL.M., if related.

Schools must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the US Department of Education.

Foreign education must be evaluated by a private professional organization specializing in interpretation of foreign education credentials or an accredited U.S. educational institution in terms of equivalency to a degree acquired at an American college or university. A copy of the evaluation results MUST be included in your application package. If you do not include a copy of the evaluation as part of your application package, your foreign education will not be considered.
