Duties
You will conduct management studies to assure that office procedures are handled and controlled in the most effective manner and in accordance with sound management practices.
You will review files, records and other documents for determining specific data; analyzing data; and compiling into final survey findings.
You will make travel arrangements and manage director's calendar based on personal knowledge of workload and current issues without prior approval, but coordinates with supervisor.
You will compose correspondence on administrative support of the center and other subjects as outlined in regulations and procedures or specifically requested by the director or staff.
You will obtain and monitor a full range of office support services, e.g., printing, equipment maintenance, and office supplies.
You will provide direct support and assist the manager in the formulation and execution of current and future organizational programs and operations.
You will prepare in final form all types of documentation and forms related to the organization's administration and management.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal
- This position may require travel from normal duty station. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card with travel and purchase authority.
- This position may require you to work overtime.
- You may be required to be recalled to duty.
- This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.
- This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing support in gathering and organizing information; assisting with conducting interviews or observations to determine methods, personnel or equipment needed; and ability to utilize office automation systems.

Education
GS-05: Specialized experience can be substituted with the following education:
- Four years of education above high school OR
- A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience MUST equal one hundred percent.
