The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Tractor Operator.
Duties
Incumbents responsible for operating various types of equipment including, but not limited to tractors, skid steers, forklifts (including steer forklifts), snowplows, grass cutters, and carts.
Incumbent's duties include operating wheel mounted tractors and towed or attached equipment to perform tasks, including transporting materials and equipment, towing, digging, loading, planting, clearing or mowing
Operators maintain grounds and roads under various conditions including mud, wet ground, and sand.
Incumbent responsible for determining the appropriate attachments and / or apparatus needed to perform assigned tasks in a safe manner.
Responsible for performing routine maintenance on various motorized equipment in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and supervisor's request ensuring equipment is kept in working condition.

To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:

Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (related to mobile equipment operation)

Work Practices (including keeping things neat, clean, and in order)
SCREEN OUT: Worked as a Tractor Operator or in a similar position responsible for operating a variety of farm-type tractors and towed or attached equipment to maintain grounds and road medians and / or perform farming functions.
