This position is located at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area in the Facility Management Division.

Duties
The incumbent works with the supervisor to plan weekly work schedules and sequences of operations of the UpLake District. Serves as a working leader and provides daily direction to at least three (3) workers to accomplish trade work on a regular and recurring bases. Performs non-supervisory work requiring the use of a variety of trade practices similar to those lead. Below are additional duties:
Repairs and installs utility systems.
Performs plumbing on water tanks and floats, potable water systems and related equipment such as mains, valves, storage tanks.
Performs electrical wiring necessary to maintain existing single or three phase.
Obtain and maintain Wastewater Treatment Certification, Level 1 (Lagoons) within 1 year from entry on duty.
Obtain and maintain Water Distribution License, Level 1 within 1 year from entry on duty.
Obtain and maintain Water Treatment Operator Certification, Level 1 or higher.
Obtain and maintain Commercial Class B Driver's License with Tanker endorsement, within 1 year from entry on duty.

To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:

Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. (includes blueprints reading)
Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment
Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation Repair, etc.
Knowledge of materials
Technical Practices (theoretical precise, artistic)
Use of Measuring Instruments
