Duties
You will plan use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials on a week-to-week or month-to-month basis; establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences, and plans work assignments based on general work schedules.
You will redirect individual workers and resources to accomplish emergency and unanticipated work and. or equipment failure.
You will determine if work may require an environmental review and requests Facilities Specialist to review the work.
You will review work orders and recommend to the Maintenance Supervisor, Structural Trades Group if the work cannot be accomplished in-house and should be contracted.
You will assign and explain work requirements and operation instructions to subordinates and sets deadlines and establishes the sequence of operations to be followed.
You will review and analyze work accomplishments, evaluate work progress, control cost and anticipate and avoid possible problems by recommending corrective action to superiors.
You will participate with management officials and/ or other personnel to develop qualitative and/ or quantitative work standards.
Requirements

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- You must be able to lift and carry up to 90 pounds.
- This position requires normal vision and hearing with or without corrective devices.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license within 10 days of start date.
- You may be recalled to duty outside normal working hours.
Qualifications

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.
