This SUPERVISORY PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT) position, located at an Air National Guard (ANG) Airlift Wing, Maintenance Group, Maintenance Operations Flight, and serves as a consultant to the Maintenance Group Commander / Director of Maintenance and is part of the CA 146 AW. This position is concurrently announced with AGR 24-050. Only one of the announced positions will be filled. Referral and selection will be IAWCNGFPR335.

Duties

THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION. The primary purpose of the SUPERVISORY PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT), GS-1152-11, is to perform supervisory duties for a variety of functions involving the planning, scheduling, documentation, and analysis of maintenance plans and flying schedules. Such work is characteristic of the Production Control Series, GS-1152, where work criteria involves planning, estimating, scheduling, and expediting the use of labor, machines, and materials, etc.

General Experience: Experience, education or training which provides the ability to reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity. SUPERVISORY PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT), GS-1152-11: Must have least 36 months experience in computations of cost data on labor and materials, buying materials or reviewing data with respect to man-hours, machine time, materials consumed, etc.; Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc.; Experience in supervising subordinate personnel, establishing work priorities, overseeing work in progress.
