THIS IS A T5 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION The primary purpose of the SUPPLY TECHNICIAN, GS-2005-7, is to provide storage and distribution, cataloging or supply identification systems, property utilization, or other related supply activities including those associated with automated or manual supply accounting systems.

Qualifications

SUPPLY TECHNICIAN, GS-2005-7: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-06 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: Performing routine and non-routine material coordination duties for special programs, maintenance, or production shops; responsible for local management of decentralized and decontrolled items which require technical intervention to ensure effective supply support and economy; responsible for limited aspects of storage management.
