This position is assigned to the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Lodging operations located at Pacific Beach Getaways. MWR Recreational Lodging offers accommodations to include RV Parks, Vacation Rentals (Cottages, cabins, singles houses, townhomes, duplexes, mobile homes, hotels, apartments, and yurts) and Campgrounds. The purpose of this position is to provide quality and efficient housekeeping services to guests or guest areas while maintaining the highest level of customer service.

Duties

Maintains the cabins, suites, and motel rooms in clean, orderly and sanitary condition and other duties as assigned. Makes beds, changes linens, sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes floors; cleans, disinfects and deodorizes lavatories, toilets and showers; clean mirrors, refrigerators, stove, oven and cabinets; dust ledges and woodwork and other duties as assigned. Replaces deodorizers, toilet tissue, hand towels, soap, and cleans appliances and other duties as assigned. Notes condition of facilities and reports to supervisor such things as broken windows, water leaks, clogged drains, infestations and other conditions requiring maintenance.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekend and holidays.
• These positions are subject to background checks in accordance with federal regulations
• Required to possess a valid state driver license, as travel to other facilities may be required within the normal scope of duties.

Qualifications

Must demonstrate knowledge of proper uses of variety of special cleaning and sanitizing solutions and how to remove different kinds of stains from a variety of surfaces. Must be able to clean and make adjustments to power cleaning equipment. Ability to follow single oral and written instructions.
