Duties

You will analyze collected data to detect trends in work areas inspected. You will conduct inventory and utilization surveys to ensure accurate data relating to real property inventory. You will reconcile data between various sources (e.g., real estate records, photographs, blueprints) to obtain the most accurate information on record for real property records. You will create supporting documentation for real property to substantiate property records.

Requirements

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.

Qualifications

To qualify for the GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Maintaining and updating land, buildings, structure, utilities, and/or relocatable property records to reflect additions, deletions and changes to a Real Property Inventory; 2) Coordinating with Project Managers and Acquisition personnel to draft technical documents required for construction and capital improvement projects; 3) Preparing technical reports or point papers to present to management; and 4) Resolving Real Property discrepancies found during virtual inventory processes.
