About the position: This position will be assigned to the Marrington Bowling Center at the Naval Weapon Station, Goose Creek, SC. Physical Effort: Must be physically able to lift and frequently stand and walk.

Duties

Cleans, oils, and polishes the bowling lanes and lane approaches adhering ton established standards. Sweeps, dusts, and cleans other areas of the bowling facility; collects and removes trash; and maintains all areas in a clean and orderly fashion. Makes minor corrective adjustments to bowling lane machinery as necessary and performs periodic minor preventive maintenance on automatic pinsetter and mechanical equipment. Maintains stock levels and records on spare parts for automatic pinsetter and mechanical equipment. Advises bowling facility management of unusual maintenance problems. Must be physically able to lift and frequently stand and walk. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI).

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position DOES NOT allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
