You will serve as a PROGRAM ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the USU SCHOOL, COLLEGE, DEPARTMENT of UNIF SRVS UNI OF THE HLTH SCI.
Duties
You will coordinate with University and other DoD officials and staff on assigned department programs, activities, and projects (e.g., administrative, academic, logistics, training, etc.) providing administrative and/or analytical technical support.
You will collaborate with the University Multidiscipline Laboratories on book and computer issuance, the University Information Systems Directorate to
provide training on the use of electronic computer systems and software.
You will develop, or assist in preparing, proposals to correct deficiencies in program operations or recommend viable solutions to problems or improvements.
You will conduct reviews to determine operational effectiveness by reviewing organizational reports, business processes, and applicable DoD and USU policies and procedures to assure compliance with regulations.
You will develop, propose, and prepare administrative policies and procedures for the office relating to administrative or academic programs, human resources (HR), budget/funding, logistical operations, and/or procurement.
You will review and revise budget transactions for staffing, contracts, travel, and related administrative support needs of the office.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Coordinating educational activities to monitor student progress, evaluate data, and identify solutions to administrative issues for the effective achievement of educational objectives.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
- Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR
- Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree; OR
- Successful completion of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled; OR
- A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
