You will serve as the Deputy Director Equal Employment Opportunity (DDEEO) in the Office of the Commanding Officer of U.S. Marine Corps Logistics Base. You will plan, organize and direct the EEO functions for the Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB), Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC), Marine Depot Maintenance Command (MDMC), Marine Corps Forces South (MARSOUTH), U. S. Marine Corps Forces Central Command (MARCENT), Blount Island Command (BIC) and Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS).

Duties

You will direct and coordinate administrative work performed by subordinates engaged in providing equal employment opportunity functions for organizations serviced aboard MCLB, MCLC, MDMC (PPA, HQ), MARCENT, MARSOUTH, BIC and MCCS. You will develop, plan, direct, coordinate, review, monitor, evaluate and update the program activities which include the Affirmative Action Plan, Federal Equal Opportunity Recruit Program, Special Emphasis Programs, EEO Counseling, etc. You will manage the EEO complaints counseling, investigation and adjudication program. You will develop EEO program instructions and review all personnel administrative guidance, practices, procedures, policies, instructions, directives, etc., to ensure EEO program compliance. You will review activity EEO program areas including informal and formal complaint records to identify, determine and implement training needs for the activity in support of the development of all activity employees to their fullest potential. You will supervise a subordinate staff of Equal Employment Specialists and an EEO Assistant.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Executing and evaluating a civilian federal equal employment opportunity (EEO) program to include advising on the application of equal employment opportunity (EEO) program requirements and developing strategic initiatives and recommendations for senior leaders.
