Duties
You will respond to emergency calls, complaints, and other calls for service during the watch.
You will act promptly, decisively, and judiciously, when observing a violation or investigation a complaint, crime, or accident.
You will perform law enforcement duties at fixed posts such as interior and exterior gates throughout the installation, utilizing a system of identification cards, badges.
You will conduct investigative stops, questions, detains, and issues traffic citations as required.
Performs traffic law control and enforcement using specialized equipment and must be able to be qualified/certified in these specialized areas and on the necessary equipment.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position has a maximum entry age of 37. Candidates that will be older than 37 at the time of appointment will require an age waiver.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

- You must meet the qualifications and be certified to carry a firearm. You will need to maintain firearm proficiency.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing investigations regarding unusual situations and/or violations of the law; conducting checkpoints/roadblocks at various locations to reduce criminal activity; inspecting packages/personal belongings when admitting personnel into controlled areas; and responding to emergency calls for service while adhering to state and federal laws. NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume.
