This position is in the Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It is being recruited under 10 U.S.C. 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system. Positions in the Cyber Excepted Service are positions necessary to carry out and support the mission of the United States Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level 3 within the CES Occupational Structure located in the DISA - JFHQ - DODIN.
Duties
Manages and supports all types of global order activities (i.e. operations orders, fragmentary orders, planning orders, warning orders, etc.
Receives, analyzes, and coordinates orders from multiple sources for requirements or impact to JFHQ DODIN missions.
Executes cyberspace defense readiness actions supporting all Combatant Commands, Services, Agencies, DoD Field Activities (CC/S/A/FA) missions.
Utilizes messaging traffic systems to monitor all JFHQ interests to protect against unauthorized access/actions.
Engineers and monitors all logical connections to the messaging traffic systems.
Maintains technical and quality control over all message switching and delivery systems and performs system administrator for all message delivery accounts.
Coordinates work efforts for Crisis Action Teams, Working Groups, and Readiness Team in order to plan and execute missions and meet operational objectives.

Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-15, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in messaging traffic systems, Word and other Microsoft Suite applications, monitoring and evaluating integrated cyber operations, applying diverse network management methods, network enterprise architecture, bandwidth management concepts, work flow concepts, and IT Cybersecurity principles along with managing and supporting all types of global order activities, coordinating work efforts, including Crisis Action Teams, Working Groups, and Readiness Team in order to plan and execute missions.

Education
