You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) with NAV RECRUITING DISTRICT NEW ORLEANS.
Duties
You will develop performance standards (e.g., guidelines, criteria, priorities) for junior employees.
You will write directives (e.g., policies, practices, procedures) for military personnel actions.
You will research historical military personnel documentation to recommend improved operations or action processing.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Developing solutions to military personnel programs issues; 2) Managing personnel actions (e.g., awards, promotions, schools, assignments, retirements and separations) in support of military personnel program management; 3) Utilizing military personnel data systems in support of military personnel programs; and 4) Preparing and presenting correspondence, reports and briefs to provide information used in decision making.

Education
n lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree.
OR
Successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree.
OR
Have obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled.
