The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a process redesign and process modernization expert for the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Financial Management functional directorate.

Duties
Develops new modern methods and approaches to AFRL FM business management.
Applies process mapping and review techniques to existing or new processes.
Makes recommendations on process efficiencies or process enhancements to expose data within a process.
Partners with FM mission execution teams and other HQ functional process owners to understand inputs, outputs, and steps associated with achieving intended outcomes of processes to develop and implement solutions for process inefficiencies.
Works within a process redesign and process modernization team to sustain modern processes and shares knowledge with teammates to advance other process projects.

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade DO-01 (GS-11) or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience includes experience developing or implementing strategies and process enhancements through utilization of tools and techniques such as Microsoft Power Suite, Data Integration and Visualization software, robotic process automation software or application coding languages. NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
