You will serve as a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the E-2/C-2 Fleet Support Team at of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Duties
You will be responsible for Logistics and aspects/phases, from Concept Exploration to Disposal of assigned programs.
You will provide expert consultation to the FST FMS Project Team Lead, as well as the NAVAIR PMA and Integrated Program Team (IPT) Leads on matters relating to logistics support of assigned weapon systems.
You will assist the FST FMS Project Team Lead to ensure effective and efficient planning, integration, and phasing of all efforts.
You will review program objectives to identify and correct deficiencies in establishing an integrated logistics support program.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
For Logistics Management Specialist GS-0346-12 position
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing logistics managerial services for the management and execution of FMS aircraft programs and systems, which includes, but not limited to the E-2, or F/A-18 from Concept Exploration to Disposal. 2) Providing consultation to the FST FMS Project Team Lead, as well as the NAVAIR PMA and Integrated Program Team (IPT) Leads on matters relating to logistics support of assigned weapon systems. 3) Briefing Navy officials, international partners, industry personnel regarding program logistics issues and represents FRCSW FST in focus groups, conferences, or program reviews concerned with problems, issues, developments, and innovations surrounding logistics management. 4) Assisting the FST FMS Project Team Lead to ensure effective and efficient planning, integration, and phasing of all efforts. 5) Utilizing computer software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project and Adobe.
For Logistics Management Specialist GS-0346-11 position
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Supporting logistics services for the management and execution of FMS aircraft programs and systems, which includes, but not limited to the E-2, or F/A-18 from Concept Exploration to Disposal. 2) Recommending solutions to the FST FMS Project Team Lead, as well as the NAVAIR PMA and Integrated Program Team (IPT) Leads on matters relating to logistics support of assigned weapon systems. 3) Preparing briefs for Navy officials, international partners, industry personnel regarding program logistics issues and represents FRCSW FST. 4) Assisting the FST FMS Project Team Lead to ensure effective and efficient planning, integration, and phasing of all efforts. 5) Utilizing computer software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project and Adobe.
