The primary purpose of this position is to serves as Mission Support Division Director providing senior level program analysis and assistance to develop, plan, improve and implement new initiatives, special projects and agency administrative processes and procedures. Incumbent is delegated authority to administer all Public Laws, Executive Orders, and DHS/FEMA legislation, directives and policies related to functional programs in the Division.

To qualify for this Supervisory Program Specialist position at the IC-14 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-13 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following:
Providing supervisory oversight of employees to achieve organizational goals; including identifying priorities, evaluating performance and reviewing outcomes;
Analyzing data and recommending solutions to organizational or program operations; and,
Implementing policies and procedures regarding disaster assistance program eligibility and compliance.
