This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the SUPERVISION/MANAGEMENT Work Category at the EXPERT Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - FE/Endpoint Svcs /Customer Spt Directorate.
Duties
Incumbent serves at the Directorate level as the J6 Portfolio Lead for programs that deliver seamless, endurable, and reliable endpoint services.
Has full technical responsibility for the work of the organization and oversees an organization through one or more levels of subordinate supervisors.
Manages program resources, budget control activities, and financial management processes. Performs Program Management for Defense Acquisition programs and provides oversight and management of contract actions.
Advises on all acquisition, programmatic, and Planning, Programming, and Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) matters involving the program(s) and related enterprise services portfolio of responsibility.
Plans, organizes, and directs the evaluation, review, analysis, and assessment of solutions to a variety of complex programmatic and acquisition problems and issues.
Requirements

- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- The incumbent must obtain Acquisition certification in the Program Management Functional Area at the Advanced Tier 4 Functional Tier within 48 months of entry into this position.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450 Executive Branch Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500.7R, Joint Ethics Regulation.
- This is a drug testing position.
Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-15, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience directing projects/programs with technical authority over a range of information technology disciplines, systems, and applications and contract management.
