About the Position: This position is an Administrative Support Assistant, GS- 0303-6 working in Philadelphia, PA for the Department of the Army, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
The incumbent will provide administrative support services, functions, and assistance in order to support an office.
Duties
Prepare accident and injury reports within appropriate time limits, in accordance with established methods, assuring that needed information is available.
Prepare travel orders and travel vouchers, requisition forms, as needed, in accordance with supply/procurement and travel needs of Office personnel.
Maintain records of all timekeeping data such as timesheets, leave reports, overtime requests, and payroll corrections.
Utilize different automated systems to maintain and coordinate flow of information between offices, other agency offices and outside vendors or contractors.
Work with supervisor/foreman to order fuel and set up for ordering, and checks on the payment status.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Selectee may be subject to a one year probationary period.

Selective Placement Factor: Must have skill of a qualified typist (Type 40 Words per Minute).
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1.) Utilizing automated systems to prepare documents or correspondence; AND 2.) Schedules training and develop announcements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-5).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
