Duties
Receive, analyze, and determine appropriate action for all Hotline complaints received by DHA OIG, to include requests for assistance.
Ensure that all complaints accepted by DHA OIG or tasked by the DoD Hotline that are IG appropriate are resolved in prescribed timelines and in accordance with applicable standards.
Ensure all required correspondence and case documentation is tracked, completed, and recorded in the automated case tracking system.
Verify that data input and maintained in the permanent system of records supporting the Hotline is accurate and complete.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting Hotline case management responsibilities (i.e. receive, analyze, and determine appropriate action for complaints), interviewing and investigating inquiries in support of a Hotline Program, and ensuring correspondence and case documentation meet records management and/or quality standards. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
