Duties

This position is located under the Office of Field Operations, Philadelphia Field Office, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

To qualify for GS-07, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-05. To qualify for GS-09, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-07. Additional Conditions of Employment: GS-07 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing the following duties: Experience analyzing intelligence/investigative reports; AND Experience communicating to senior leadership regarding investigative outcomes; AND Experience with federal/state/local investigations. OR Successful completion of one year of full-time graduate education from an accredited college or university may substitute for the experience required at this level. This education must demonstrate the skills necessary to do this job. OR Superior Academic Achievement (SAA) may also substitute for the experience required at this level. SAA is defined as a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, having a class standing in the upper third of a graduating class or major subdivision, or membership in a national scholastic honor society. GS-09 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing the following duties: Experience working on intelligence/investigative cases; AND Experience with intelligence computerized databases on the state/local or federal level; AND Experience communicating/debriefing senior officials regarding arrests, intelligence information for analysis; or detainees. OR Master's degree, two full years of graduate education, a J.D. or an LL.B. degree from an accredited college or university may substitute for experience required at this level.
