This position is located within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), USCG Finance Center (FINCEN), in Chesapeake, VA.
Duties
As an Information Technology (IT) Specialist within the U.S, Coast Guard Finance Center(FINCEN). The primary purpose of the position is to provide technical support to the Field Services & IT Branch manager in support of the integrated financial management and procurement Oracle eBusiness Suite and supporting the C5IT functions for IT impacts on the command.

Qualifications
To qualify at the GS-11 level, applicants must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.Specialized experience includes:
Implementing system enhancements and modifications for interfacing operational and asset maintenance information technology (IT) systems;
Troubleshooting end user application problems;
Performing systems analysis;
Projecting changes and systems enhancements to anticipate future operational needs.
OR
Applicants may substitute successful completion of 3 years of progressively higher-level graduate education or Ph.D. or equivalent graduate degree (such as an LL.M, if related).OR A combination of appropriate specialized experience (as described above) and graduate education (as described above) that is beyond the second year of progressive graduate study to meet the qualification requirements.
In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirement, you must also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
