Salary: $81,963.00 Per Year (Step 1) to $$106,549.00 Per Year (Step 10).
NOTE: First time hires to the Federal Government are typically hired at the Step 01.
Duties
As a Managment Analyst within the Woods Hole Coastal and Marine Science Center, some of your specific duties will include:
Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following to qualify for the GS-11 level:
One year of specialized experience in or directly related to this position that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. To be creditable, the required specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal service. Examples of GS-9 level work: 1) Participating in the identification and development of data required for use in the management and direction of programs; 2) preparing guidance documents for work plans; 3) researching program methods and establishing procedures for program requirements. Assignments were made with the objectives, priorities, and deadlines defined. Work was planned and carried out independently in accordance with proven techniques, methods, and practices. Controversial use of approaches or modifications of standard procedures were typically discussed with a designated person before being carried out.
**OR applicants may substitute successful completion of 3 years of progressively higher-level graduate education or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree (such as an LL.M, if related). (54 semester hours, 81 quarter hours, or the equivalent).
