Duties

This position: - Creates and administers central system for external Drawings library and CAD files and similar facility documents. - Oversees and operates plotters and scanners. Produces and/or reproduces drawings, using the large document plotters/scanners. Serves as Contracting Officer's representative. - Perform standard records management activities in support of agency records management needs. - Update and revise campus AutoCAD drawings such as exterior utility and building drawings. - Reviews drawings prepared by others, shop drawings, as-builts prepared by contractors, and plans prepared by Architects and Engineers for conformance with standards, specifications and like considerations. - Handle plotter paper rolls, horizontal files, and boxed archives by physically loading and arranging for pick up.

Requirements

  • Merit applicants must meet time-in-grade/band requirements, as applicable
  • Completion of Confidential Financial Disclosure, Form OGE-450
  • Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment medical examination
  • Bargaining Unit Position: No

Qualifications

To qualify at the ZT-III Level: Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to a GS-08 grade level (ZT-II for NIST employees) in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience in utilizing AutoCAD version 2020 or higher. OR Two full years of graduate education in a directly related field. OR Master's degree in a directly related field. OR A combination of education in a directly related field and specialized experience. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done. We will credit all qualifying volunteer experience in your application. Education
