About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. RRAD is near the corners of 4 states - Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. The depot's enormous maintenance mission includes the repair, rebuild, overhaul and conversion of tactical wheeled vehicles. Duties

Advise personnel on manpower actions for the organization. Conduct studies for organizational structure, resources utilization, mission, function and work processes. Consult with management on manpower operations. Prepare table distribution and allowance (TOA) submissions for higher headquarters. Provide guidance to staff on accomplishing realignments.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance for access to Depot Production Computer System.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
• This position requires the TACOM Data and Analysis Level 2 Compiler Certification Requirement within 24 months of being placed on this position.
