You will serve as a Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Naval Sea Logistics Center, Material Management Program of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Logistics Center, Keyport Division, Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania (NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA) located in Ewa Beach, Hawaii.

Duties

You will provide supply management and analytical program support. You will coordinate with supervisor/lead to fulfill stock requirements. You will ensure proper documentation is released in a timely manner. You will engage a wide range of individuals and audiences, orally and in writing, formally and informally, on matters of a functional, technical, and administrative nature in both structured and unstructured situations. You will perform functions in central receiving, receipt inspection/receipt control, custody storage, general storage and warehousing. You will serve as the technical support for Operating, Materials and Supply warehouse management processes and operations and Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) warehouse management functionality. You will perform procedural and operational tasking's associated with day to day warehouse operations.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 pay band (GS-5/6/7/8 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing warehouse functions to conduct inventory operations and assist lead on accountability (e.g., analysis) of assets and compliance with governing policies. Examples of Qualifying Experience may include assisting lead with research to organize and locate assets; assisting the Warehouse On-Site Lead with Operating, Materials and Supplies (OM&S) program management; performing warehouse management/administrative functions; conducting daily warehouse inventory management operations; establishing warehouse management methods, procedures, and business practices to organize and locate assets; assuring and reporting on visibility and accountability of assets and compliance with governing policy; executing to day to warehouse. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

A Master's or equivalent graduate degree;
OR
Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Master's or equivalent degree;
OR
An LL.B. or J.D. degree in a field directly related to the position being filled.
