The ideal candidate for this position will have experience with working with senior management leaders identifying goals and objectives to meet the organizations strategic planning efforts. Strong project management skills and experience presenting analysis results to senior leadership utilizing software programs. This position is within FEMA Regional Offices, Region Nine, National Preparedness Division.

To qualify for this position at the GS-11 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following:
Providing in-depth analyses, strategic assessments, or domain knowledge on strategic initiatives, program investments, or business processes; and
Partnering with stakeholders to advance analytics projects that address specific requirements and advance strategic goals; and
Analyzing large volumes of data to drive strategic decisions.
OR
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.M., if related
OR
Combination of education and experience
To qualify for this position at the GS-12 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Degree: Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to the position. The degree must be in a major field of study (at least at the baccalaureate level) that is appropriate for the position.

Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours) as shown in paragraph A above, plus additional education or appropriate experience.
