You will serve as a PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the OFFICE OF THE COMMANDANT of UNIF SRVS UNI OF THE HLTH SCI.
Duties
You will serve as an administrative advisor providing support for all administrative travel requirements for medical students utilizing Defense Travel System and outside agencies/resources to facilitate the needs of the department/medical students.
You will assist medical students and provide procedural guidance on administrative functions to ensure mission accomplishment and compliance with the Joint Federal Travel Regulations (JFTR), the University and higher headquarters directives.
You will manage processes and procedures as required to include developing and implementing office and travel initiatives/strategies.
You will provide key personnel with travel documentation/reports through automatic data means as required/requested.
You will transmit requests for supplies and equipment for the Office of the Commandant's staff.
You will coordinate and manage the collection of data from various program sources.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative support functions to coordinate travel arrangements and manage resources for an organization.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
- Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR
- Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree; OR
- Successful completion of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled; OR
- A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
