About the position: This position will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation on Ellsworth AFB.
This position is considered regular part time. You are guaranteed 20 hours, however could work up to 40 hours per week.

Duties
Position provides general office and financial support to the Outdoor Recreation Management. Performs various management support functions to include preparing general correspondence, budget submissions, processing customer payments, counts activity revenue funds, performs labor transfers, and consolidates monthly inventories. Coordinates with management to establish and maintain budgets for staff development and incentives. Card holder/Approving official for (NAF) Government Purchase Card program and the appropriated funds cardholder for the Government Purchase Card (GPC). Schedules employees for training classes and communicates with appropriate managers to ensure employee attendance. Responsible for overseeing Outdoor Recreation new employee training and regularly briefs management on course schedule, expectations, and solicits presenters.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience:
Knowledge in the operation of word processing and accounts receivable program to perform basic functions and print a variety of standardized forms, reports, etc. Requires knowledge of account relationships and relationships with other accounts within the system to perform extensive balancing and reconciling of details and summary accounts. Ability to ready, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Must be computer proficient in standard office software. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions form groups, managers, customers, and general public. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Must be able to read, speak, and write English. Basic knowledge of Outdoor Recreation operations NAF and APF budget requirements. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a T1 National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
