About the Position: Serves as Human Resources Program Manager with responsibility for management, oversight and integration of a variety of programs designed to support the well-being and personal development of the Soldiers, Civilian employees, Family members and others who comprise the installation/garrison community.
Duties
Provides technical and administrative supervision of administrative, professional, and technical personnel engaged in the directorate operations.
Serves as spokesperson and representative in meetings and conferences with partner organizations and representatives of higher echelons.
Participate in developing and executing the garrison strategic plan for all HR managed programs.
Responsible for the final review and recommendation on the Financial Program and Budget Plan.
Ensure training, and development needs of employees are met.
Oversee and administer the implementation of Installation-level Human Resource (HR) programs and policies.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires to obtaining and maintaining a Secret security clearance.
- This position require submitting a Financial Disclosure Statement, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
- This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (natural or man-made disaster)
- the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
