DCSA's Security Training is looking for a Staff Officer to provide administrative assistance to the Operations and Academic Support Division, within the National Center for Credibility Assessment (NCCA), in Ft. Jackson, South Carolina. This job requires a change agent with the ability to foster relationships with multiple stakeholders and serve as a liaison between NCCA hiring managers and DCSA human resources personnel. Duties

As a STAFF OFFICER you will be responsible for the following duties: Performs a variety of administrative, support and management activities essential for day-to-day operations across diverse organizations and missions. Facilitates information sharing, storage, and retrieval and resolves administrative policies and processes. Assists subject matter experts with research identifying trends and areas of improvement. Independently performs a variety of recurring activities including executive support, personnel programs, security, and task/records management, and related activities. Drafts correspondence for management signature. Reviews outgoing correspondence and ensures compliance to with appropriate guidelines and procedures. Plans and schedules a range of administrative functions to support senior leadership and management officials within the division or office. Conducts research and analysis of basic administrative issues and provides information and material to support recommendations needed for decision-making and passes on to senior management for accuracy and quality.

You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GG/GS 10 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Administers, coordinates, and evaluates tasks and activities; Integrates projects and programs to ensure effective and efficient day-to-day operations and advance the overall intelligence mission; Laws, regulations, and policies to manage tasks and resolve issues impacting office operations, support services, and personnel management; Executive support, personnel programs, security, and task/records management; Facilitates information flow, storage, and retrieval; Conducts specific research and identify trends and potential improvement areas. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: 1. Performance Management Apply performance management concepts, principles, practices, and regulations, regarding planning, monitoring, advising on the rating and rewarding of employee performance. 2. Administration and Management Knowledge of planning, coordination, and execution of business functions, resource allocation, and production. 3.
