You will serve as a EEO SPECIALIST of NAVY SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY.
This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
Duties
You will oversee the complaint process.
You will conduct interviews to obtain evidence relevant to allegations of discrimination.
You will monitor and track the complaint process for proper and timely investigation of EEO complaints.
You will manage the accommodation requests for reasonable accommodation and provide technical oversight and support to personnel responsible for taking action on the requests.
You will conduct EEO training for employees and supervisors.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the excepted service which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal
- You will be subject to recurring/random Polygraph Examination.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Providing advice and guidance on EEO programs which include reasonable accommodation and disability employment program matters, policies, laws, regulations; assisting in the processing of reasonable accommodation requests;
Analyzing data and information and recommending solutions to problems that adversely affect equal employment opportunity;
Providing technical guidance and assistance on the informal complainant process to individuals.
