About the Position: The Real Estate Division is responsible for accomplishing real estate transactions for Air Force and Army, including the Reserves and National Guard, Military Recruiting Programs, and other Defense Department needs within the States of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana, and for Civil Projects within District boundaries in Washington, Idaho, and Montana.
Duties
You will acquire lease, fee, easement or other realty rights.
Prepare out-grants by appropriate realty instrument (lease, permit, easement, etc.) Federal land in support of the multiple use doctrine while obtaining the maximum possible return.
Conduct extensive utilization surveys, compliance and ERGO inspections in accordance with mandates of federal law.
Negotiate and or interpret terms and conditions of out-grant to determine responsibility to resolve any related problems that may arise with out-grantees.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires a valid, State-issued motor vehicle driver's license.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience planning and completing real estate leasing transactions; managing real estate activities; and conducting real estate lease negotiations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
