Duties
Ensures efficient training management through training and learning management system (LMS) support.
As LMS Content Development (Content Owner), performs Content Owner functions and learning management system knowledge to archive, migrate, and update courseware, resources, and assessments in the LMS system.
Initiates auditor new hire Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) status in LMS, tracks auditor progress and updates DAWIA levels as milestones are met.
Prepares correspondence, maintains department calendar, and updates rosters, reports and spreadsheets.
Updates and identifies roles of new hires and assigns all mandatory courses. Assists Training Support Officer and Training Coordinators at all levels with administrative and logistical support for assigned courses.
Issues CAC cards and conducts CAC inspections via RAPIDS to verify certificates are accurate. Coordinates with instructor to set up classroom and communicate course schedules and class information to students.

Qualifications

Basic Requirement: You must be able to type 40 words per minute in order to qualify for this position.
Specialized Experience:
Specialized experience must be documented in your resume.
For the GS-05: You must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-04 or equivalent level in a training-related administrative and technical support function position
For the GS-06: You must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-05 or equivalent level in a training-related administrative and technical support function position. Specialized experience would include one or more of the following areas; maintaining training data or producing course materials
For the GS-07: You must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-06 or equivalent level in a training-related administrative and technical support function position. Specialized experience would include one or more of the following areas: training support programs, training activity databases or training-related administrative and technical support functions.

Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program (ICTAP): You must be well qualified for the position to receive special selection priority under the ICTAP. Education
Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience:
For the GS-05: Four years of successfully completed education above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation, or the equivalent, is a prerequisite may be substituted to meet the specialized experience required. Equivalent combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
For the GS-06: Six months of graduate education may be substituted to meet the specialized experience required when it is directly related to the work of the position being filled. Equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate level education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
For the GS-07: One full year of graduate level education may be substituted to meet the specialized experience required when it is directly related to the work of the position being filled. Equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate level education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
