Duties
You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (POLICY PLANNING) in the C4I AND COMBAT SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT (N6), COMMANDER, LCSRON TWO, MAYPORT, FL.
You will lead Combat Systems Department in policy, planning, functions, tasks, and program management.
You will maintain the command cyber security and information program.
You will develop policies and plans and/or advocates for changes in policy that support organizational cyber security initiatives.
You will facilitate the collection, analysis, and assessment of program status to determine compliance with instructions and guidance.
Requirements

Qualifications
Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. You must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:
1. Attention to Detail- IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Maintaining situational awareness (SA) of Network Operations connectivity requirements and capabilities as to ensure effective command and control.
2. Customer Service- IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Providing technical expertise concerning Navy Enterprise-wide development, implementation, modification, and management of long and short range IT planning and goals.
3. Oral Communication-IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Presenting reports and briefs to technical, non-technical, and senior personnel on research and development of network services.
4. Problem Solving-IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Resolving difficult issues and making recommendations on delivering network transport services.
In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience maintaining cyber and information systems policy and planning.
Experience developing policies and plans and advocate for changes.
Experience supervising and assesses security events, determining impact and implementing corrective actions.
Experience preparing and presenting briefings of analysis and assessments of CS program statuses.
