This ARTILLERY REPAIRER position, is located in the Joint Forces Headquarters-State, Logistics Directorate (J-4), Surface Maintenance Facility and is part of the CA MATES Camp Roberts.

Duties

THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, TEMPORARY POSITION NOT TO EXCEED ONE YEAR Selectee may be non-competitively extended up to 4 years if/when funding becomes available in accordance with CNG FPH 001. The primary purpose of the ARTILLERY REPAIRER, WG-6605-10, is to perform maintenance, repair, and inspections on the electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components on armored vehicle turrets.

Qualifications

General Experience: Experience or training which demonstrates the ability to perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic system operations; Experience demonstrating the ability to fit and adjust parts and assemblies. ARTILLERY REPAIRER, WG-6605-10: Must haveat least 18 months of experience demonstrating a broad knowledge in repairing, rebuilding, modifying and testing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and major components of artillery systems; Experience in diagnosing malfunctions and determining needed repairs in artillery systems; Experience demonstrating the ability to inspect artillery systems; Experience which demonstrates the ability to develop test standards; Experience interpreting and applying drawings, schematics, blueprints, diagrams and specifications.
