Purpose of this position is to install, maintain, monitor, repair, control and in some cases, fabricate the control portion of the Energy Monitoring and Control System (EMCS), related systems, and all other control systems at the Northern California Health Care System (NCHCS) under Facilities Management Service.

Duties

Major duties include, but are not limited to the following: Perform installation, maintenance, repair, modification, and in some cases, fabrication of the highly diverse and very sophisticated control equipment, making up the components, assemblies and systems of the EMCS. Applies detailed knowledge of these components, assemblies, and systems to bypass (when necessary) certain components to the major portion of the EMCS system operational while performing the installation, repair, modification, or fabrication of some portion of the system. Knowledge of electronic solid state circuitry, the application of maintenance and troubleshooting techniques on varied devices, such as state of the art measurement techniques, optical, mechanical, electric and pneumatic devices and various types of self contained calibration systems is required.
