Duties

You will have the responsibility to conduct on-site and remote information systems operations as part of a team of government and contractor personnel, and perform analysis, design, development, and install a variety of complex systems. You will conduct testing and execute deployment and configuration and scripts for a variety of IT network system devices and technologies including Windows servers, firewalls, Proxy, Terminal Services, DMZ, File and Print, etc. You will develop, test, and execute scripts to configure and deploy operations monitoring, performance tracking, security policy enforcement and system auditing and logging capabilities using a variety of software (Wireshark, Nessus, etc.) You will execute requests for Change (RFC), conduct operational and information security requirements analysis, design and document system and network architectures and develop, design, integrate IT hardware. You will identify Cyber security objectives and requirements and incorporate into acquisition and integration plans and document all project phases.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 821 level advanced within 12 months of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conduct testing and configuration for a variety of IT network system devices such as Window Server, firewalls, Software Defined Networking (SDN) and/or network assessment. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
