You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the INSTALLATIONS AND LOGISTICS INTEGRATION DIVISION of IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS.

Duties

You will support activities related to naval logistics enterprise development, logistics capability development, and force design activities. You will represent Navy interests related to logistics development and implementation activities. You will collaborate with other commands and agencies to analyze logistics capabilities and requirements. You will be responsible for deployed logistics platforms and systems that support operational ships, aircrafts, and weapon platforms.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1) Developing and implementing logistic strategies, concepts, and capabilities in accordance with competitive procurement policies and methods; 2) Evaluating and resolving complex problems related to logistics programs, functions, and activities; and 3) Analyzing the effectiveness of logistics operations to project future needs, assess work and task requirements, and make effective recommendations.
