About the Position: This position is with the 63rd Readiness Division, Equipment Concentration Site (ECS) 170 located at Fort Hunter Liggett, CA.
Duties
Develop performance standards and evaluates work performance of subordinate managers/supervisors.
Inform higher headquarters on maintenance plans, support concerns, facilities, technical problems, budgeting and special projects.
Direct mission execution, long range planning, organizational structure, goals and objectives.
Coordinate work to be accomplished and establish priorities.
Represent the command at seminars, pre-camp conferences, and meetings pertaining to the Equipment Concentration Site (ECS) support operation.
Analyze operations to identity areas in need of improvement.
Resolve employee complaints and group grievances.
Develop plans, policies, programs and procedures to achieve maximum efficiency of operations.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires you to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing storage, maintenance, supply and quality assurance; making determinations regarding equipment use, compatibility and condition; developing plans, policies, programs and procedures for shop operations; and supervising daily activities of a full time staff. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
