Serves as an Airway Transportation Systems Specialist (ATSS) as a liaison or team leader for large, challenging and complex work activities related to the integration and operation of telecommunication services provided by the FAA Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI), FAA Enterprise Network Services (FENS), FAA Voice Enterprise System (FAVES) telephone system, FAA Radio Communication Link (RCL) and Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS).
Duties
Serves as the liaison or team leader for large work activities related to the integration and operation of telecommunication services provided by the FAA Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI) and FAA Enterprise Network Services (FENS). Performs work requiring agency-wide leadership for highly complex and challenging technical activities associated with analyzing, designing, modifying, developing, installing, repairing, fabricating, maintaining, or evaluating the most complex systems for which the FAA is responsible.

- Valid state driver's license is required.
Qualifications
There is no timeframe requirement at the Level IV/FV-I to compete for this position. To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level/grade FV-I, FG/GS-13. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Experience that demonstrates an extensive knowledge of and experience in technology system interrelationships, and management of civilian or military automated aviation, navigation, and electronics systems. Specialized experience for this position includes the following:Experience coordinating with multiple air traffic entities to shut down and restore facilities, systems, and services to prevent activities from disrupting air traffic operations, and quickly resolve FTI telecommunications service issues with minimal impact to the NAS.Experience working with FAA tools associated with Monitoring, ticketing and analysis of operational services.You MUST provide a NARRATIVE statement for each Demonstrated Ability and Quality Ranking Factor.
