The selectee will be assigned to the Council staff (in the FFIEC Examiner Education Office) under the employing agency's policies and procedures and the individual's employment agreement with the agency.
The Senior Program Administrator plans, administers, coordinates and evaluates training programs for senior examiners from the FFIEC member regulatory agencies and provides recommendations and assistance to the manager on a broad range of issues affecting the Examiner Education program.
Duties
This is a temporary assignment (detail or temporary promotion) with the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC). The selectee will remain a member of his/her home agency. The selectee may be given temporary promotion or detail for up to 5 years. At the discretion of NCUA management and the FFIEC Executive Secretary, this assignment may be terminated early. Upon completion of the assignment, the selectee will be returned to a position comparable to his/her previous position and grade in the same Agency/Division/Office and geographic location.
As a Senior Program Administrator, you will:
Plan, organize, conduct, coordinate, and monitor examiner training schools and conferences to meet the needs of the member agencies.
Apply financial institution examination standards related to the assessment of credit, market, liquidity, interest rate, and operational risk.
Evaluate training activities and training materials for effectiveness and works with instructors and interagency development groups to enhance course activities and materials.
Provide leadership to the interagency program development process. Guide and advise development groups so as to efficiently develop and revise programs to maximize their effectiveness.
Identify and enlist the services of instructors and guest speakers from industry and the regulatory community, often in coordination with
interagency development groups.
Lead and assist in the development of new courses that may be developed by agency personnel or contracted vendors.
Manage procurement and contract requirements for contracted instructors and courses. Create statements of work and review course
proposals related to the vendor selection process.
Provide training and guidance to new program administrators or other staff.
Make oral and written presentations on a variety of issues to the Task Force on Examiner Education and other FFIEC Task forces and individuals/groups as required.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is the experience that has equipped you with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
All applicants applying for the CU-13 level must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the CU/GS-12 level obtained in the public sector. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience performing examinations of financial institutions or performing risk management tasks relating to financial institutions.
All applicants applying for the CU-14 level must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the CU/GS-13 level obtained in the public sector. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experienceperforming examinations of financial institutions or performing risk management tasks relating to financial institutions, and experience leading a team.
In addition to the specialized experience you must meet the below requirement:
You must have obtained a PE certification or the equivalent from a FFIEC member agency. Your resume must include the month and year the certification was obtained.
