About the Position: Serves as Logistics Management Specialist in the International Logistics Office of the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency with responsibility as case manager for Army medical Security Assistance Programs.

Duties

Authenticate the country's eligibility to receive exported controlled substances and certifies the client's documentation and compliance under US code. Analyze data, develops plans, and advises Foreign Military Sales customers on design, capabilities and compatibility with other U.S. Government equipment. Resolve critical problems due to numerous changes in policy, requirements, priorities or urgencies of need, long and fluctuating procurement lead times, and funding commitments. Serve as the subject matter expert responsible for the medical portion of the security assistance missions.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
  • This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
  • Business travel up 10% of the time.
