You will serve as a FACILITIES OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the Facilities Branch, Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES), MARFORRES NOLA.

Duties

You will serve as the key facilitator between the sites and all sections of facilities and other sections of MARFORRES for facilities services and maintenance issues and requirements. You will advise and provide guidance and technical assistance on routine, and emergency maintenance matters. You will serve as Faculties Branch construction representative for small to large facilities sustainment, restoration and modernization (FSRM) projects. You will prepare weekly synopsis to the Supervisory Facilities Program Manager on facilities support and maintenance work in-progress.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing expertise in (1) Managing maintenance and construction projects for small to large facilities; (2) Reviewing contracts, specifications, and production plans for facilities work (3) Overseeing facility management resources including personnel, service contracts, financial programs, space utilization, and information resources.
