About the Position: This position is located US ARMY AVIATION AND MISSILE COMMAND, USATA, USA TMDE SPT REGION WEST, OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR, FORT IRWIN, CA.
Duties
Receives a variety of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) for cyclic calibration and repair.
Coordinates with supported units to ensure effective, efficient and timely accomplishment of maintenance and calibration of each item of equipment
Monitors computer status listings to determine those jobs which are approaching or have been in the TMDE Support Center for an excessive period of time.
Utilizes personal computer to produce, copy and edit a variety of standardized documents.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a moderate to heavy lifting requirement. This position has a requirement to lift up to 35 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
