Duties

You will serve as a Program Analyst (0343) within the Integrated Product Support Division, Program Management Office, Strategic Systems Programs, Flight Systems (SPF) Titusville, FL. You will provide direct oversight, within the Programs and Planning Branch, of assigned projects and contractor personnel; to include, providing direction, establishing priorities, and implementing branch guidelines. You will provide direct oversight as it relates to the packaging, handling, storage, transportation, and disposal of SSP material, from a programmatic/systemic, and micro level. You will review contractor proposals for integration of product support elements and adequacy of such proposals. You will provide oversight of US sustainment efforts for SPF to ensure program planning of the transportation of D5 Rocket Motors and associated Support Equipment are coordinated and accomplished in accordance with established procedures. You will participate in the formulation, preparation, and implementation of polices and interrelationships between numerous government agencies, both DOD and non-DOD, and contractor organizations. You will develop and maintain product support metrics to ensure hardware availability meets established programs needs and goals, as it relates to disposal, packaging, handling, storage, transportation, disposal, and other assigned topics/projects. You will lead efforts in planning, developing, and executing plans/processes related to the packaging, handling, storage, transportation, and disposal of SSP assets. You will implement product support elements into site activations, in accordance with FAR/DFAR, DOD, DON, DOT, and SSP regulations. You will monitor industry trends and processes, and provide analysis of products to improve SSP operations and sustainment processes in the form of business case analysis (BCA) documents, market research reports, and other related business forms.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing and performing product support functions (for example: coordinating Packaging, Handling, Storage, Transportation, disposal activities and rocket motor movement), to provide solutions and adequacy in support of the program mission.
