Duties

As a MANAGEMENT ANALYST, GS-0343-09, you will serve as the primary point of contact for unit Aviation Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants (AVPOL) program. Identify and validate requisitions from base organizations for the non-stock listed, sole source or technical order (T.O.) directed flying hour goods or services. Consolidate annual maintenance operating budgets for incorporation into the overall Wing's annual financial plan. Perform other duties as assigned.

APPOINTMENT STATUS: EXCEPTED This is a Dual Status Excepted Service Technician position in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. Indefinite appointments may acquire permanent status depending upon future force structure requirements; indefinite appointments do not serve a trial period. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 24 months experience which has provided a working knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques. Experience analyzing, interpreting and developing policies and procedures of local management. QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE: Length of time is not of itself qualifying. Candidates' experience should be evaluated on the basis of duties performed rather than strictly on the rank of the individual; however, established compatibility criteria/assignments must be followed. The applicant's record of experience, training, and education must show possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to fully perform the duties of the position to be filled.
