Duties

In a patron usage facility, circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery. Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc. Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. May provide work guidance to other staff. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A one year probationary period may be required.

• Must be willing to accept varying and/or rotating shifts to include nights, weekends and holidays.
• The dual compensation guidelines DO NOT apply to this position. All GS and NAF employees whether full time or part time are eligible to apply for this position.

Qualifications

1. Work experience which involved dealing with the general public. This experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. Highly Preferred Criteria: 1. 18 years of age or older. Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official.
